As everything quiets, the painting arises, and the pressure to act grows, then the choreography emerges. Pathway and volume, repeat, reconfigure, vary, and mutate, continuing to penetrate the subtle time, until they create a memorable texture for instant memories, which eventually becomes sculptural and as a praise.
Choreographer and artist NiNi Dongnier activates and ponders her nostalgia and migratory life. She integrates natural phenomena, animals, human walking, and intimate emotions and the universe, abstracting them into kinesthetic and visual materials in space. Resetting the theater as a performative landscape in which the audiences are invited to slow down their movements of perception, to meditate again on live dance - the ontology of collective ritual, or simply to rest in the landscape. The performers come from diverse kinesthetic backgrounds, such as postmodern body movement, ballet, Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance, especially Mongolian dance.
The four movements “Cloud”, “Silent Flight”, “Micro Step, Highland”, “Sun and Moon Have Rotated to This Infinite Extended Present Moment, the 99 Verbs and Wishes, For You, My Dear” converge into a nomadic space, focusing on the present and recalling the equality of the spirituality of ancient animism and the future.
